Boasting an outdoor swimming pool, free BBQ facilities and a free airport shuttle, Saltbush Retreat is a 3 minutes’ drive from Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame and Qantas Founders Museum. Absolutely wonderful stay at Saltbush. We were greeted by a lovely, friendly man (his name escapes me) who gave us a great recommendation for a butcher so we could get some steaks for dinner. The entire place is cozy and rustic. We didn’t use the baths but they looked so cool! Rooms were spacious, our cabin looked out onto some grass with kangaroos grazing, which was a delight for our 9 month old. It had everything we needed, including wine glasses, I only wish we’d bought a bottle from them! Highly recommend, we had a lovely little stay :)

I was worried about having shared bathrooms but there were a few of them and they were all clean. Very satisfied with the price.

The centrally located Longreach Motor Inn boasts free WiFi, a swimming pool, a sauna and an onsite restaurant. It features rooms with a flat-screen TV. Great location, very short walk to cafes and pubs. Airport shuttle service is amazing as the taxis are useless.
