We booked it to stay with friends and their family and while we all had to share the one bathroom, once we figured out who was sleeping where, it was fine. The cottage is close to Port Ellen, though we did drive into town it is walkable. We also walked to the singing sand beach and square lighthouse. The host was super helpful, communicated via email and WhatsApp, and they even responded to inquiries/messages after we checked out.

The staff were AWESOME, VERY friendly and helpful. We loved the location and the rooms were squeeky clean! We had a private bath 5 feet down the hall, locked so others couldn't use it. This was spaceous with generous hot water and pressure. It has a large tub for those who like a tub, but also a great shower.
