We had the entire house to ourselves, with one or two additional guests, and it honestly felt like we had our own private home in a different country. The space was warm, welcoming, and had everything we could’ve possibly asked for. What really made this experience so special was the hospitality. Even though Pauline wasn’t there in person, she made sure we were looked after in every way. Her son and sister checked in on us, offered help, and genuinely made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. It went far beyond what you’d expect—kind, thoughtful, and personal in the best way. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the house was spotless, and every corner felt cared for. It was peaceful, cozy, and the perfect base for our time in England. We can’t thank Pauline and her family enough for such a memorable and heartwarming stay. If you get the chance to stay here—take it.

It's a pretty little cottage that's an annexe to a large farmhouse. It's located down the lane next to the farmhouse and is the first door on the lane. Cottage is nicely decorated - a mixture of traditional and modern. Service is friendly and helpful. Location is good too - only a couple of minutes' walk from the high street, and handily there's free off-road parking. The kitchen has coffee, a good selection of teas and handily some food such as soup. The cottage was nice and warm on arrival and the owner Ollie turned up to say hello and check all was ok. All in all, a pleasant start and I'll definitely return.
