He chose the hawk house and I have to say it really was lovely we will definitely be back the menu choices for meals was plenty .what we were served at both dinner and breakfast were both beautifully presented tasted great and were reasonably priced and good sized portions the room was well presented admittedly the bathroom was a little tired looking but how much time do you spend in there the bed was really comfy and all the staff were knowledgeable and very helpful.definitely looking forward to coming back

Location & decor was spot on. Bathroom, wonderful! Warm, cosy & very comfortable. Everything you needed, was to hand. Couldn’t have asked for more.

This Traditional, Family ran Hotel is set in the heart of Ilchester, Somerset, with 15 En-suite Bedrooms including a Superking/Twin, Family with Toddler Bunk Beds, Ground Floor and Single rooms. A beautiful, spacious attic room with an equally roomy bathroom. Everything was spotless, and we appreciated having a small kitchenette. We enjoyed the view from the windows and listened to music drifting in from the neighboring rooms. The staff were very friendly.
