We didn’t expect much from a hotel on the island inhabited only by a couple of hundred residents, but it excelled in every way possible. One of the most affordable accomodations we’ve had on Azores, the rooms were very clean, comfortable and mold free, neat layout of the hotel and comfortable common room. Even the breakfast was included in the price (basic but fresh and tasty).

Vera is a very charming host. The Villa has many details to explore. We got a breakfast basket with all in you need for 3 days, even a bottle of wine which tasted excellent. You can tell, that a woman runs this place, very kind and friendly. We liked it a lot.

Everything was clean and we were absolutely in love with the beautiful terrace facing the ocean and Corvo island. Also, we were spoiled with a welcome basket which was very much appreciated 😊

At the end of our trip to Flores Island, we stayed at Casa Vicente, and it was one of the highlights of our journey. Located in a peaceful and quiet area in the northern part of the island, it offered the perfect setting to relax and enjoy nature. The house had all the facilities we needed, including a renovated bathroom that was excellent. We all slept very well thanks to the cozy and comfortable setup. On top, Casa Vicente has a lovely garden that our children absolutely loved - plenty of space to play and even some extra toys thoughtfully provided by the owners. Definitely, it was a perfect base for exploring the northern part of the island. And just a short 2-minute walk from the house, we could admire the view of Corvo Island. A big thank you to Susana, whose attention and kindness made our stay even more enjoyable. She was always available and made sure we had everything we needed. It’s clear that the place is being lovingly maintained and improved. We wish the owners all the best with the ongoing improvements. Being in such a remote place, it’s understandable that not everything is available right away, but they’ve done a great job making it comfortable and welcoming.
