Considering the cost of staying at Dear B&B II, the facility was great. My wife and I were treated very well by the owner. She delivered breakfast and organized transportation for us to explore the islands. Originally, we requested a scooter, but when the weather turned sour on us, the owner quickly arranged for us to obtain a very reasonably priced, relatively new, Toyota Yaris vehicle. The room was quiet and had a nice balcony. There is a small kitchen facility in the B&B which appears to be equipped enough to cook for oneself, but we chose to eat out. Although on the periphery of all the action in Jincheng, only a ten or fifteen minute walk gets one into the heart of the city. We found a it best to eat downtown and there are plenty of places to find snacks. If one is addicted to bubble tea like we are, good bubble tea can be found at Coco’s on one of the main streets, southeast from Dear B&B II and up from the bus station.

Owners were really helpful, responsive, kind, and friendly. They gave us good suggestions on where to go and also tours to sign up for. Breakfast was super delicious! Location was very near many food options. Also walkable distance to 24hours laundry place. You can also rent a scooter from the minsu. We did not have a scooter license but owner was super kind and offered to help us call a cab anytime we needed one. Ther was also transfers to/from airport/ferry terminal. Room was very comfortable and when we went the weather was great so we opened the window for natural ventilation. Bed was bigger than a queen size so it was really comfortable. Toilet was big enough and spacious. They even offered to bring me to harvest mussels and clams as it was the season! Very unique experience. And as we were also there to catch the blue tears, the owners would let us know when there is this phenomenon and have also kindly given us a lift to see this natural and rare phenomenon! It was such a precious experience!

The views from the home are spectacular and the interior of the old home is beautifully preserved. The breakfast and dinner was composed of local specialities and was delicious. The homemade wine is great and I recommend making sure to take a bottle home. The location is very convenient for getting to and from the airport and host was kind enough to make sure we got our taxi on time to and from the airport.

A beautiful restored historic family house- and ultimately our favourite of the island! Lovely ambience and comfortable stay, and the host and family were warm, welcoming and full of local knowledge. The tour of the house was great too. Tasty breakfast on offer each morning and a great location for exploring Kinmen. Already plan to come back again!

Chin-Beは北竿にあります。 The room was gorgeous, the property was beautiful! The towels were thick, the bed and bedding was super comfy and the balcony/patio attached the room was incredible! I enjoyed sitting out on the patio with a lovely view of the beach and the sunset. The hosts were wonderful and picked us up from the port and dropped us off the next day at the airport for our flight. They warned us to eat early to avoid not being able to find food later and as we weren’t hungry we didn’t eat, and later became hungry haha! When we asked where we could maybe find food at around 7pm, the hosts were so kind to give us their seafood noodle soup dish they’d cooked for their own family that evening! I highly recommend this place and I can’t wait to come back!
