But what really stands out is how great the hotel boss is. I went here with a friend and originally we would only stay for 2 nights. However after the first night we went to the city center of Leshan and I became sick from something I ate. When we got back to the hotel my friend told the boss I was not feeling well. He drove her to a pharmacy on the back of his scooter to buy medication. After the second night I felt a lot worse. The boss arranged a taxi to take us to the hospital. (I asked to go to the hospital myself) In the hospital they gave me an IV with medication and I started feeling better. The hotel boss even came to visit me in the hospital to see how I was doing which was super sweet! In the evening we went back to the hotel. The boss made rice porridge for me which I was able to eat without problem. (At this point I hadn’t eaten in 24 hours because I kept vomiting) An extra night in the hotel was arranged without issue and the boss also arranged a taxi to take us to Chengdu airport the next morning. Because of my sickness our stay in Leshan was unpleasant but without the constant help from the hotel boss it would have been so much worse! Thank you so much! P.S. the hospital in Leshan is very cheap and the staff seem to know what they’re doing despite their limited English. Definitely don’t be scared to go if you are feeling ill.
