Owner was very caring and filled the fridge with delicious local food, including the legendary Okayama Pione grape. Will come again next time we need to stay at Okayama!

The staff was very welcoming, the place is so cute and genuine. So many nice details, books, things.... it is so carefully set. We even enjoyed the Japanese style breakfast, what a full experience. Thank you for the welcoming atmosphere and the genuine and friendly feeling.

This was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. We stayed as a family of four for two nights, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful always ready to assist us with anything we needed. The Ryokan itself is beautiful and full of rich history. Its location is perfect, right in the center of Kurashiki, Japan’s famous denim town. The food was absolutely amazing, every dish was full of flavor and clearly prepared with care by a skilled chef. The shared bathroom was clean, and it was a great opportunity to experience a traditional Japanese bath. If you book this hotel, don’t forget to take a short evening walk through Kurashiki, it’s truly beautiful.
