The cottage was lovely, cozy and clean. Everything we needed to prepare meals and relax in comfort. Rita was always available by WhatsApp to address any concerns. Highly recommend.

Casa Mãe is a well-renovated house with two rooms, one living room, one bathroom, and two balconies with amazing views. From the front balcony every morning we could see thousands of beautiful butterflies and colorful birds and from the back balcony, the view is unique to the garden, fruit trees, and plants like vanilla or black pepper. We also can see the sea and the national park. The staff is very kind and the property is always very clean. Near is the Pousadinha Mar Ave Ilha which belongs to the same owner where we can spend time reading or watching more than 100 TV channels from all over the world. The local meals were also fantastic, especially the fresh fish and the octopus. I truly recommend Casa Mãe to other guests who want to have a peaceful time. Grade 10.

If it would be for the staff and location the rate would be greater! It is hard to get there, but that’s part of its beauty. The staff is the best! Very welcoming and friendly. They cooked us very good dinner meals and are always with the biggest smile on their faces :) the bungalows are simple but spacious and clean!

We really enjoyed the privilege of being in the middle of a tropical forest surrounded by nature, birds and butterflies. We were even able to spot monkeys that were having their dinner at the nearby trees! The house is well equipped and despite some electricity cuts we always had hot water. The road to the house is a little tricky- remember you are in the middle of a jungle. You need 4x4 car. Lucindo and his wife Marie are extremely welcoming and always available for questions or requests. Marie is also an excellent cook! She was preparing very tasty local dishes for us. We would definitely come back!
