Being able to wake up to the sunrise over the water and have coffee on the wonderful deck was one of the highlights of my trip. It was also amazing to have the kayaks. I paddled over to an island with great snorkeling and a beautiful beach which was a perfect way to spend an afternoon!

We were 2 couples and flipped a coin for the upstairs bed which was up a steep set of narrow stairs that was dangerous in the dark. A shared kitchen with another bungalow was not what we expected. But the kayaks and stay was nice for a night.

From the moment we arrived, everything was just as perfect as the pictures had promised. The accommodation was stunning—clean, stylish, and exactly what we hoped for. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was Benjamin. Benjamin was more than just an agent; he was our go-to person for everything. Whether we had questions about the apartment, needed help planning our days, or wanted recommendations for local experiences, he was always available, incredibly kind, and eager to help. His suggestions made our trip so much more special—we saw and did things we would have never discovered on our own. It's rare to come across someone so genuinely dedicated to making guests feel welcome and at ease. We can honestly say we’ve never had a better stay, and that’s entirely thanks to Benjamin. If you’re lucky enough to have him as your agent, you’re in for a flawless experience. Highly recommend!

Sophie (Sof) and Patrice’s (Pat) aka Sofpat fare was more than we could have hoped for. It looked in real life just the same as the pictures in their advert. It was clean, well equiped with everything we required. The fare was private, it was easy to access. The location to town was perfect. To be fortunate enough to have access to a great pool really worked for us and to have our own car to use the whole time we were there was the icing on the cake. As much as everything I have written was superb I really would like to write also that over and above how the fare was and equiped it was the engagement, the hosting, the caring from Sophie, Patrice, Agnes, Mahealani, and Hinenui that my wife and I will most remember. Right from our arrival at the airport and to be greeted by Mahealani and Hinenui these two strong and beautiful Mao’hi women who picked us up, then to meet the matriarch of their family Mama Agnes who brought us a freshly prepared breakfast each morning that was more than my wife and I could eat. We were lucky to meet Sophie and Patrice the day before we left Raiatea and although our time with them was brief, both were the utmost of hosts to us. My wife and I have already decided to return in June 2026 (at the latest) and we’ll only be staying with Sophie, Patrice and their extended family. We’ll start french language lessons as soon as we arrive back to Aotearoa (New Zealand).

Villa Tonoï ligt in Uturoa in de regio Raiatea en beschikt over een buitenzwembad en een panoramisch uitzicht. The owner and staff were all friendly and helpful. The property is well maintained. The individual villas have private balconies that provide wonderful views as this property sits up the hill with expansive views. We loved having breakfast and happy hour on our balcony enjoying these exquisite views.
