A 1-minute walk from Sandown High Street, Victoria Lodge provides self-catering apartments on the Isle of Wight’s eastern coast. These studios and flats have free on-site parking and WiFi. It was so good having a parking space allocated just for us, we always knew if we went out we could park straight away. Even though it was a house and on the ground floor it was so quiet. We had all the amenities on hand so we didn't have to go out in the evening if we didn't want to. Would stay here again. The owner was so nice and helpful, and easy to contact should we need to. There is a brilliant pub in the next road that does great food if you didn't fancy going to far. The Pier is great with loads to do just a short walk. The Beach is lovely and at the bottom of the road. In the town just round a different corner you can get the No. 2 or 3 that will take you to Shanklin which we did in the evening so we could get dinner and go to Shanklin Chine. The best bit the No. 3 drops you off at the bottom of the road 1 minute from the House. Also in the town next to the CoOp is a cafe we went to for breakfast £5 so nice.

It is fitted out to a very high standard with many considerate and useful extras. Spotlessly clean and even a litre of milk in the fridge. The Lodge is very well presented. Although located deep in the country, many Isle of Wight attractions are within an easy 20 min drive.

The location of the lodge in the park is great, secluded and away from masses of public. The size of it was incredible. We were 5 adults and one child and we all had full size beds and with the two bathrooms made living so much more comfortable. The kitchen living dining open plan was so spacious. We could not have asked for anything else.

The chalet was beautifully presented, clean, modern and fresh. Quiet location which was close to anything on the island via car. The fire was needed in the cold weather and was a nice touch.
