The kindness and hospitality of the family are truly rare—I’ve traveled a lot, but this is unmatched! And the farewell gift? Never seen anything like it! One word: THANK YOU. The only problem I see is that we don’t want to leave this place! If you’re reading this review, don’t think twice before I decide to book for the whole year! You won’t be disappointed!

Manthally Cabanas biedt unieke, handgemaakte cabana's in een jungle-omgeving op slechts 1,5 mijl landinwaarts van het prachtige Narigama-strand en op 2 mijl van het Hikkaduwa-strand. Best breakfast we had during our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka! Lovely Cabanas & super kind owner and team :) Also the dog Roxy is so cute! Walking to the beach takes a while but with a TukTuk it’s only 5 min and costs 1.00-1.50 Euro 😊 Would definitely come back 😊

The Mountain Breeze Galle Cabanas is gelegen in Galle, op 5,3 km van Galle International Cricket Stadium en 5,4 km van Galle Fort. Very cosy and comfortable. The person that looked after the place was fantastic and very attentive and welcoming.

THE LODGE by Eco Love ligt in Galle, op 4,8 km van Galle Fort, 4,9 km van Groote Kerk, Galle, en 5,3 km van Vuurtoren van Galle. We stayed here for three days and felt very comfortable. The cottage built in the garden of the family is very stylishly furnished and has everything you need. Great interior design. It even has a very large refrigerator, dishes, and a sink. Malik and his family take really good care of their guests. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful (so much so that we made ourselves packed lunches). And Malik's brother once brought us some delicious homemade cookies, just because I had told him that I like sweets. You can borrow two bicycles for free, which we did once to explore the surrounding area and ride through the rice fields. Malik is a very good contact when it comes to organizing excursions. He gave us great tips and organized a good driver for a day trip to the rainforest. He also speaks excellent English (which is unfortunately not often the case in Sri Lanka), so it's easy to have a conversation with him. He is an awesome guide himself and spent a morning showing us around the old town and fort of Galle, and we learned lots of new and interesting things. Highly recommend to go on a guided tour with him, if he is around. If we come back to Galle, we will definitely stay here again!

Calm Side Villa Hikkaduwa beschikt over een buitenzwembad dat het hele jaar door open is en biedt accommodatie in Hikkaduwa met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. I stayed for 02 nights there. The chalet was amazing. Highlight of the place was the private pool, absolutely loved it!! The room and the bathroom was very spacious & clean. Room offers all the facilities (living area, satellite tv, wardrobe, tea/coffee maker, etc...) you need for a perfect getaway. Breakfast was very good with few options to choose from. They had an À la carte menu for lunch and dinner, which was also very good. The property was also kept very clean and neat. Wish the owner and the team the very best for future! Would definitely visit again!!

Hiresha and Sudeera made our stay at the property a delight, looking after our every need. Transportation, food, recommendations, everything. The property itself is stunning and spotless and the true meaning of Boutique. It's a little way from the beach but it's in the jungle with no sounds other than the wild life. There are little extras with this property that are noteworthy, the use of the kitchen if you like or the laundry room.

Kurumba Luxury Cabin, een accommodatie met een tuin, ligt in Ahangama, op 21 km van Galle Fort, 21 km van Groote Kerk, Galle, en 22 km van Vuurtoren van Galle. We had a wonderful time at the guest house. It was cozy, clean, and equipped with air conditioning. Chen, the host, was incredibly polite and always ready to assist, even lending us a scooter for errands. The location was peaceful, slightly off the road, ensuring a quiet stay, yet conveniently close to cafes and shops (around 5-7 min by scooter). For longer stays, having a scooter is advisable. Last but not least, the breakfasts were delicious and varied. Each day offered new and tasty options, although they were not buffet-style, they were satisfyingly fulfilling. Also there is a summer kitchen if you want to prepare smth by yourself
