This is our second visit to Skipbridge farm and won’t be our last. This year we stayed in Wally’s Wife, it’s absolutely amazing! So cosy and the interior is beautiful. It’s filled with all your essentials you need for your stay. The Eco hot tub was already nice and warm for when we arrived. We brought coal with us this year and did a bbq (there’s already a disposable one waiting for you) and built a fire. Plenty of wood, kindling, fire lighters and matches to keep the hot tub going. Everything’s all ready for you when you arrive, no messing around with checking in. Lovely peaceful surroundings and well distanced from others on the site. Only short drive from York city centre and the York outlet.

Very pretty with a secure walled garden for the dogs. We weren't there long, just two nights, but we would come again. Bed was very comfortable. Loved the huge TV with Sky. Very quiet. Owner had great communication in terms of arrival details etc. House was spotless and beautifully decorated.

The cottage is lovely! It has a great garden space that is all yours. The kitchen and lounge area are perfect and have everything you need. The hot tub looks so fun but we didn’t end up using it in the end. The bedrooms are lovely - both a great size with double beds (four poster!) and en suite. We both had babies with us and plenty of space for our travel cots etc - Helen the host had also left us travel cot, baby bath and high chair too so it’s all very kid friendly. Helen was amazingly helpful throughout the booking and gave us a warm welcome with her gorgeous dog Ted! She was so helpful throughout our stay we couldn’t ask for more. Thank you Helen! The cottage is really accessible and easy to access local attractions. We visited Hornsea seaside and The Deep in Hull. It’s also really close to Beverley! Would recommend to anyone looking for a cottage in this area! They also left us wine, biscuits and had doggy treats too. Lovely touches from lovely hosts!
