Our Guesthouse is in a peaceful area just outside the busy part of Kathmandu. From here, you can easily visit many famous places:
Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) – about 20 minutes by car. This is one of the oldest temples in Nepal and has great views of the city.
Thamel – about 25 minutes away. A popular area for tourists with restaurants, shops, and travel gear.
Kathmandu Durbar Square – around 30 minutes by car. A beautiful old palace area with temples and history.
Chandragiri Cable Car – about 40 minutes away. Take the cable car to the top of the hill for stunning views of the Himalayas.
Pashupatinath Temple – around 35 minutes away. This is a very important Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Many people from around the world come here for worship and blessings.
Boudhanath Stupa – about 40 minutes away. A peaceful and spiritual place for Buddhist pilgrims. It has a big white dome and many prayer flags.
Patan Durbar Square – around 45 minutes by car. An old royal square full of temples, art, and traditional Newari architecture.
The area around our guesthouse is quiet, safe, and green. You can also enjoy yoga, meditation, and healthy vegetarian food at our ashram.
