Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

The noise of dogs in the area is very annoying, the internet in the room is a bit weak, and the bathroom is very small but sufficient.
The room is clean, the air conditioning is good, the balcony with the room was great, the bed is very comfortable, and Mrs. Rasha is very cooperative. I wish you success and thanks.

The location is little bit far from local shops and some of the taxi driver are not familiar with area as the GPS is not accurate 100\100.
The staff were very nice and helpfull abu umar and Abu malak , the manager miss rasha was very professional and dedicated person trying to serve and make sure we are happy and comfort in our stay in all the means

The motel under construction so there is sum disturbances at check in&check out procedures

Very nice couple who waited for me despite of the 2h flight delay!… The bedding is very comfortable!!! Quiet area except when dogs are suddenly barking or during the calls for prayer of course. A bit far from everything.

everything was perfect!! very clean, very new, even the smell! it felt like nobody ever sleeped in these beds, also the staff was very helpfull and made everything for me to feel comfortable! i highly recommend you to stay there! this was the best accommodation i had in at my 4 week trip in egypt!

the space was smaller than expected . shower head need to be fixed . every thing else was excellent

Poor wifi i complained and they replied that they will check but never got back to me and it remained poor. No complimentary water or tea bags. The staff only come in at 12 noon so if you need anything before, there is no one to help.
It was clean. The owner was welcoming and sent us the numbers to some supermarket next to the place.

The WiFi was very poor. This is not a hotel (I.e. no reception) Too many messages and calls from the owner. For completely unnecessary stuff and always insisting that I reply. Nights are quiet but a couple of mornings there was hammering noise from 7 am onwards.
The room was clean There was a helpful handyman present most of the day The area is quiet at night.

It wasn’t clean enough, very overpriced and the checkout time is absolutely ridiculous, 11pm check in and check out for a full-priced day? Not good at all. And there were no necessities available, drinkable water, soap etc. And I’m pretty sure the bed and pillow covers weren’t properly cleaned if cleaned at all. And there was a ladder in my room, why? Wouldn’t recommend.
