Au ´ti Sucrier is simply stunning and even exceeded our expectations. The photos give a good idea of the property and its facilities but sometimes pictures just can’t do a place justice. It really seemed like paradise. We were 2 couples in 2 side by side apartments. We ate together in one of our outdoor kitchens overlooking the pool and sea and had everything we needed to prepare and cook meals. We loved every minute of our stay using the pool each day, it never became crowded. We walked across the road to the pretty beach and enjoyed swimming and snorkelling in the warm waters. We ate breakfast the first and last mornings in the restaurant area; granola, yoghurt, fruit, pastries, local jams and excellent coffee. The location is perfect for seeing some of the most beautiful beaches and eating out in Deshaies (and sampling the cocktails) all within a 10 minute drive. Thank you to all the staff who were super friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the company of Doby the most well behaved dog ever! , who came to see us from time to time and lie in the shade outside our apartments. I could not recommend this property highly enough.

Could have used more storage space and places to hand clothes to dry, however this did not detract from our great stay.

No restaurant as as advertised but unfortunately their chef walked out without notice. They’re trying to recruit a new chef.

The accommodation was comfortable and opposite a lovely beach. Ships and restaurants were nearby.

Helpful and friendly staff. Nice setup with views of the sea and easy access to a fresh-water pool. Excellent restaurant on site as well as others close by. Convenience store within walking distance. Beach close and not too crowded. Close (10 min car ride) to Deshaies where we had a boat moored. Parking on site for each apartment.

Stunning location above Plage Leroux, stunning property and gardens with hummingbirds. Glorious sunset views from the terrace of our room and the pool. The owners and staff could not have been more welcoming and friendly.

Our large room number 8 was ample, but was a little dark and spare for the size. Could have used an extra lamp and an extra table in the main room. Bed mattress was a little hard for our liking. An extra full size room towel per person would be appreciated.

The location is amazing, the less touristy side of the island. With it’s own pool and super sun loungers or the choice of the beach down below for swimming. very relaxed and laid back environment. Outdoor kitchen for self catering or restaurant for breakfast or evening meal. Other authentic restaurants for Creole cooking and Ti-Punch 5 mins walk.

This was an ideal combination between a hotel and self catering. The location was magnificent and the grounds beautiful and well cared for. The room we had was large, the bathroom huge. Air conditioning worked very well. The outside covered terrace with mini kitchen was well equipped and great for putting together your own breakfast, lunch or dinner. We tended to eat out well once a.day and then enjoy a baguette or croissant from the ver local boulangerie. The beach is very close and a decent restaurant is just across the road. Overall this is a great property, very well located and makes a good centre for local day trips.

This was one of the best places I've ever stayed in. The staff were super nice and helpful, all was impeccably clean, the apartments, garden and pool are all beautiful and its only a few minutes from one of the best beaches in that part of Guadeloupe.

Beautiful location offering fabulous sea views. Very short walk to nearby beach and also a .good sized swimming pool in the lovely gardens. Relaxed environment. Comfortable simple accommodation with terrace or large balcony. Self catering option is a real bonus. Owners Stephanie and Nicholas are helpful and friendly.

I would have preferred a rectangular rather than fan-shaped pool. Very minor issue in view of all the superlatives.

This is a wonderful property. Location is perfect. Owners are great. Views are wonderful. Price is very affordable.

Our stay would have been improved with wifi in the room, or a telly, to connect with the local stations. Other than that it was wonderful!!!

Stephanie was super helpful and spoke excellent english! Her pets were a joy! The views and the gardens were the highpoint for me, along with the pool

It was too bad the bar was still closed due to liquor license issues but we were assured there are plans to open it again. It will nicely complement the breakfast terrace which is so beautiful and pleasant. The wifi was disappointing but only if you were located in rooms at the end of the property.

It's a great location in the NW part of Guadeloupe nearby Deshaies where Death in Paradise is filmed and where some of the best beaches are, especially Plage de Grand Anse. Its own beach Anse de Leroux is a 5-minute walk across Route N2 (which can be busy). It's a wonderful small swimming and snorkeling beach, and never too crowded. The property was attractive and is under improvement by new owners (Stephanie and her great crew!) and we wish them lots of good luck. The swimming pool was great and there are plans to upgrade it also - so, lot's to look forward to for another visit!

Great location! If you are looking for a quiet getaway during the busy season this is the place to be. Restaurants are within walking distance, as is the beach. Shops are a bit further away, so having a car is a must. Stephanie and Nicholas are superfriendly, they take time for a chat and are always willing to help or assist you with your needs. So, an excellent stay at a wonderful place. Will certainly return here when visiting Guadeloupe.

Would be great to have better Wi-Fi in the room, and perhaps an extra pillow or two. But these are really minor points.

The property is beautiful and felt very secluded. The room was spacious and the kitchenette was well stocked.

The only thing I could find as a problem was the shower, not a lot of pressure; but the shower by the pool was fantastic.

This is a fantastic place to stay. The view from our room was amazing(pool and sea), the host and hostess were superb. Stephanie was a great help since she spoke English well and was very helpful in making plans. Will return in the future and can't wait!!!!!
