Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNothing.
The fresh croissants and pain au chocolat served at our breakfast table were something to look forward to every morning. The yogurt, fruit, coffee, fresh juices and homemade granola made it the perfect breakfast for us. The staff were so friendly and helpful, without them our holiday would not have been the same.

CanadaThe kids didn't like having to walk to the pool area for the wifi. I had a local sim (Orange) so I could enjoy the peace in the room!
Wonderful hosts. You are surrounded by tropical plants ,trees and the noise of the crickets, frogs and birds.at night. The beach is a five min downhill walk for sunrises / sunsets. Deshaies (for Death in Paradise fans) is a 7 min drive away.

United StatesOur A/C did not function properly the day we arrived, but management sorted out the problem and had it repaired within a day.
This is an absolutely lovely hotel in a perfect location for exploring the northern part of Basse-Terre. The grounds are lovely, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, the pool area is great, the breakfasts generous and varied - but most of all, the staff (from management to reception to housekeeping) is absolutely wonderful. During our stay we slept long and well, lounged at the pool, drank at the bar, walked to the spectacular beach down the hill, and dined at great restaurants in Deshaies. We also enjoyed to company of other travelers from all parts of the world. Our two-week trip to Guadeloupe was complicated by some medical issues, and the staff here went above and beyond to help make our trip less stressful and more enjoyable. A truly delightful experience in every respect.

United KingdomThe pool area is starting to show some wear and tear but still a lovely and large pool.
Excellent welcome from an English speaking receptionist. Lovely breakfast with a range of options and you can pay for eggs if wanted. We loved our accomodation although you need to be prepared for visits from wildlife! They allow you to stay by the pool area on check-out day and there is a shower area and toilet you can use which is ideal because of the Air France evening return flights. Great location for visiting the beaches, Grande Anse is walkable and Perle is a short drive. Lots of fantastic restaurants in the vicinity and a small grocery shop and excellent burger van at the end of road.

United StatesNo complaints!
Hotel was just a short walk to one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Good restaurants close by for which the hotel was happy to make reservations. Wonderful breakfast buffet with a mix of local fruit and French items. Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. Excellent daily housekeeping.

United StatesWe appreciated that there was no wifi in the room but might be hard for others.
Pleasant and minimal rooms tucked away in a lush jungle-like setting. quaint and charming communal area with a bar where you can enjoy a drink (theirs or your own if the bar is closed). breakfast was simple continental but generous, fresh, well curated. Staff was mostly helpful and welcoming; Asia in particular gave us great local tips and helped with restaurants. It is QUIET here, embrace it!
