I arrived an hour after the check in time, but my room still wasn’t ready. Unfortunately, I had to wait for almost another hour. As an apology, the staff offered me complimentary room service with anything on the menu. I had dinner, and it was delicious. Thanks again!

A truly gorgeous hotel, full of character and beautiful details. The bed is very comfortable, and I especially loved the music in the room - such a thoughtful touch, with the perfect playlist. Breakfast was delicious, and the breakfast hall was everything. I’m still thinking about that big painting on the wall! Definitely coming back!

The breakfast was amazing! Room was wonderful and the staff couldn’t have been better. They also have a coffee and tea bar in the morning. This is our second stay here and it is now our first choice New York hotel!

- There was a lack of storage space. - During cleaning, they stored my belongings in places I couldn't find afterward and seemed to have accidentally thrown out one of the dust bags for my shoes. - There was no tea or coffee machine in the room.

- Excellent restaurant and breakfast. - Comfortable rooms. - No noise, despite the loud street outside at night. - Great hotel design.

Lobby too small, and the price compared to the common areas available too high.

The hotel service is really excellent, clean and the room was big. The top floor private terrace is gorgeous and should be available for everybody.

The hotel is gorgeous, the rooms are well appointed but small. The house keeping is kind and courteous - the staff are good and the food is amazing. Would 100% stay again even if the area is a little touch and go. Still worth it!

Wish the bar/lounge would stay open a bit later, and that the rooftop would be available for more than just private events.

Very beautiful, very clean property with helpful staff and quaint little details (gorgeous bath drawer pulls and towel hooks, quality linen storage pouches for hairdryer, nice ceramic toilet paper holder, for ex.). The room, while on the smaller side as expected in Manhattan, was very well designed and appointed, and the bathroom was one of the largest one we've seen in NYC. We loved the location, but word to the wise: this LES location is not for everyone, this is not your Times Square vibe hotel.

Wonderful experience - the a la carte breakfast in the gorgeous dining room was the absolute best. Hotel has loads of atmosphere and the lounge, complete with roaring fire, was perfect after a day out exploring NYC in the wintry weather. Rooms on the small side, but that is par for the course in NYC and perfectly laid out within their small footprint. The daily cookies and water were very much appreciated. Would definitely return.

Everything was fine

The hotel had a welcoming atmosphere and all the hotel staff were friendly and attentive. Our room on the 11th floor was nice with a great bathroom. Liked the choice of the restaurant or bar for breakfast and the cocktails in the evening were appreciated. The complimentary wine between 5 and 6 in the evening was a nice thought in the East Room. The location downtown on the edge of chinatown suited us. The hotel was very well run and seemed genuinely interested in us and made us very welcome.

If the hotel has smoking rooms they should be on a different floor to the non smoking rooms. We could smell smoke even with our door closed.

I really disliked that I couldn't find anything wrong with Nine Orchard. I also was furious that the team kept surprising me with their amazing hospitality.

I loved everything about Nine Orchard, from the service to the comfortable bed to the cookies on my nightstand every night. The attention to detail in every aspect, including decor and facilities, was beyond my expectations. I loved the custom speakers in my room and curated playlists. The hand drawn map was a nice touch. The view from my room was incredible. I spent a good amount of time at my desk writing and looking out toward the skyline.

After a very stressful time at the airport with our flights getting cancelled a lot of people were rushing to get somewhere booked after the airlines refused to help. On check-in there was a large queue of people so the staff from the bar came round to offer complimentary drinks and comforted everyone as best as they could. The staff on the check-in desk was very patient and lovely given the circumstances and I was able to secure a late check out free of charge to give us more time to recuperate. Then hotel then looked after our baggage and arrange a taxi to come for us later on which really helped us. The room was absolutely amazing, one of the best hotel rooms I've ever seen with beautiful decor, a super comfortable bed, excellent information on the local area and a well stocked mini fridge, it was absolute luxury. The hotel included breakfast which was amazing and all sourced from local suppliers.
