Facing the beachfront, そらやまゲストハウス Sorayama guesthouse offers 2-star accommodation in Ino and has a shared lounge, garden and terrace. Our best stay during our three week Japan trip in 2024 with 8 people in total (including a toddler and kindergarten aged kid). The hosts are very nice, the breakfast and dinner they provided for us was exceptional, and the view from our room was great, too. They take great care to be ecologically mindful. Everything was very clean. The owners also provided us with valuable info on what to do during our stay in Kochi, so we had a blast exploring the beautiful nature surrounding this guesthouse.

EkimaehouseSamaru ligger i Shimanto-cho, inom 13 km från Kaiyodo Hobby Museum Shimanto och 24 km från Monjudo Temple. The guesthouse and the neighborhood are amazing. The owner is one of the nicest and warmest people I have met. The bed was even nicer than that of a much more expensive ryokan. The train ride to the guesthouse was scenic, the location of the accommodation is perfect, the eateries nearby are all good. The place itself was spotless with a really nice shower room. Everything was perfect. I can't recommend it enough.

Guesthouse Suisennosato ligger i Konan, inom 17 km från Taipeis universitet och 18 km från Kōchi station, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård och gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen samt gratis privat... The host was a beautiful Gem of a woman who I just connected with, she has a good sense of humor and she honestly goes out of her way to make you feel at home , I highly recommend this place easy! Wifi brilliant, parking on-site, shower awesome, fridge great, bedding awesome, TV great and room was huge !! Air con worked awesome, 💪, and I would go back again easily ! ( And I'm eating more vegetables now 😀)...

Katsuo Guest House ligger 12 minuters promenad eller 3 minuters bussresa från tågstationen JR Kochis norra utgång. Här erbjuds sovsalar i japansk stil med luftkonditionering. One of the best hostels I have been to in Japan. The staff were amazing, the place was comfortable and cosy and it had a really nice atmosphere throughout the whole stay. Have to mention that the owners were very helpful with anything I needed and were super friendly.

Washi Studio Kamikoya ligger i Yusuhara, inom 35 km från Odo Dam Museum och 42 km från Kaiganzan Iwaya-ji Temple, och erbjuder boende med en terrass och gratis privat parkering för gäster som anländer... The place is beautiful, both the location, giving you a great view of the valley and the property itself. It's decorated with art made at the washi studio.

Guesthouse boro-ya ligger i Toyonaga. Boendet har en grillplats och en trädgård. Från lägenheten har du utsikt över bergen. Alla rum på pensionatet har en terrass. Everything was amazing. Location is INSANE, in a very rural village overlooking the valley. The owner, Yancy, was super friendly with us and told us his interesting story. He provided everything we need, such as cooking tools and also games and entertainment. We appreciated to have the whole house available for us, for cooking and chilling. The outdoor bathroom is a real experience. I absolutely recommend to try this accommodation.

Located in the mountains surrounded by nature, Guesthouse En is located in Ochi at an elevation od 400 metres. The property features a garden and offers luggage storage space. Takao and Shie’s guesthouse is perfectly equipped for a self-catering stay in a remote rural area about an hour from Kochi city. They are wonderful friendly hosts and the accommodation is lovely. The toilets and bathroom are outside but are very clean and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for anyone wanting to disconnect from the city vibe and just relax for a few days. Thank you Takao and Shie and good luck for October :-)

Haruno Guesthouse ligger i Tosa, 24 km från Daizen-ji Temple, och erbjuder boende med gratis cyklar, gratis privat parkering och en gemensam lounge. This is a great, affordable place to stop along the shikoku pilgrimage route. I stayed 2 nights. The nights before and after temple 35, walking without a bag for that day was so nice and gave my legs a mild break with plenty of time to do laundry, clean, and reorganize my gear. Since it's so affordable it makes a great place for a rest day. Walking distance to a great grocery store and conbinis.
