I really couldn't say enough about how amazing the staff was here!! The room was really nice with an epic view as well as the onsen sunset and sunrise views over the ocean from the onsen and room!

Directly connected to JR Kagoshima Chuo Shinkansen (bullet train) Station, JR Kyushu Hotel Kagoshima offers modern guest rooms with free Wi-Fi in 2 separate towers. Location right next to the station was ideal for us. The room was clean. The staff was always pleasant and helpful. Going through Booking.com was the only way to make a reservation from outside Japan and this went smoothly.

The onsen/bath house was amazing with a sauna and cold plunge which we loved. The location was excellent with easy access to the station and everything we wanted to see in Kagoshima.

Opened in 2012, Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Kagoshima is just a 2-minute walk from JR Kagoshima-Chuo Train Station and features a French restaurant and massage services. Location was next to both Airport Bus and JR Rail Stations, as well as Tram line. Fantastic, spacious room with a magnificent view overlooking Sakurajima. Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

HOTEL NOIR Kagoshima Chuo Station is situated in Kagoshima, 4 km from Kagoshima Station and 2.2 km from Terukuni Shrine. I stayed here for a night while waiting for my new apartment to be ready. The location is super close to the station and restaurants, etc. It's very convenient. The staff were so nice!! I felt very welcomed. The room was nice, big bed, big bath. I could even watch Netflix on the TV. Overall I recommend this hotel if you're stopping by Kagoshima city.
