Lovely place about a 10-15 minute walk from the train station. We were there on 2 cold days in March but our room was warm with a heater and electric blankets. Very comfortable beds and an onsen in the room. We had a beautiful view out our window and in nice weather it would be lovely to sit outside but not on this visit. You eat downstairs in a pleasant dining room. The 2 dinners were fabulous and well prepared but we couldn't eat much of the breakfast (it was all Japanese), other guests loved it. But on the second day the cooks made us a delicious breakfast that kept us going all day. The owner is very helpful, he cares a lot about his guests, he's still working on the place and it will be really nice when it's done.

It was great to have our own onsen which looked out to the unit's small Japanese garden. We slept on the futon section of the property and we had a good night's sleep. There was an option to sleep on a double bed in the other section of the property. We had a rental car and we had no problem getting to the property by typing in the phone number into the navigation system. We had a small car and the parking space was ok. We enjoyed our lovely stay there and would have loved to stay longer!
