Immaculately cared for with the kindest staff I have ever encountered. You immediately feel at home and taken care of with small touches like skincare in the bathrooms, to big things like the private roof onsen available for free reservation. Fabulous breakfast and we were on our honeymoon so they surprised us with a decorated dessert and Polaroid photo of us!! Over the top kindness that makes me recommend this hotel to everyone and can’t imagine visiting Japan again without staying here.

Situado em Tóquio, a 1,5 km do Templo Sensoji e a 2,2 km da Tokyo Skytree (torre), o Ryokan Nakadaya oferece acomodações com lounge compartilhado. I stayed at Ryokan Nakadaya on the last leg of my Japan trip during spring. After having seen so much of that beautiful country over two busy weeks, I didn’t think Tokyo could get better than what I had already experienced. Little did I know, I would be so lucky to be in Tatsuo-san’s company. I received a warm welcome, and was showed around the property on arrival. I didn’t even have to carry my luggage to the room as Tatsuo-san took care of it. Each morning, he would ask which area of the city I am planning to visit, and would airdrop me the best recommendations – for food, sightseeing, shopping – you name it, including some rare locations like the Hayao Miyazaki clock which I loved! One morning when it was raining heavily, he offered me a fresh mochi along with some matcha, which was one of my favorite snacks in Japan. He would also perform a little ceremony sparking flint stones to bring me good luck on my travels. Starting my day with such cute interactions with Tatsuo-san was one of the most wonderful highlights of my trip. It felt like I made a friend! As far as the property goes – it’s a charming, vintage ryokan. Each corner is speckless – not only were the common areas cleaned every day by hardworking staff, but so were the rooms. The showers and bathrooms were always clean too, despite being shared. There was also a lobby-like area where you could have tea and enjoy some Japanese snacks. The (single) room itself is a good size for someone who is staying there as a traveler, as you would likely be venturing out during the day. I found the Tatami mats and the futon to be perfect for me as I don’t prefer extremely soft hotel beds, but Tatsuo-san did offer to put more mattresses, in case I wanted them. Like in any ryokan, you have to be careful not to damage the mats, but there are enough shelves and furniture to park your luggage and other bags comfortably. The internet was also fast.

Idealmente localizado no bairro de Chuo Ward, em Tóquio, o Ito Ryokan está situado a 200 metros do Monumento da Cultura Japonesa Tradicional, a 400 metros da rua comercial Amazake Yokocho e a 500... Everything. The room was so nice, everyone was so kind and friendly. The breakfast is a MUST, Absolutely delicious and affordable. Very near a metro station so it's very convenient.

Inaugurado em junho de 2013, o Edo Sakura oferece acomodações em uma villa tradicional de estilo japonês Machiya, a 5 minutos a pé da Estação de Metrô Iriya e a 10 minutos a pé da Estação de Trem JR... Equipe sempre disponível para nos ajudar, muito gentis. Local agradável e quarto estilo japonês, uma excelente experiência. Adoramos vestir as yukatas e experimentar o onsen privativo. Próximo da estação de trem e metrô e linhas de ônibus, o que facilita os passeios por Tóquio. Também próximo da estação Keisei Ueno (distância de 15-20 minutos de táxi, solicitado pela equipe), onde é possível pegar o expresso Skyliner que vai direto para o aeroporto de Narita.

O Ryokan Sansuiso fica a apenas 450 m da Estação de Trem JR Gotanda, na Linha Yamanote. Very pleasant stay. Employees were helpful and easy going. Map of nearby facilities was provided and very useful.

Ryokan Kamogawa Asakusa is a 2-minute walk from Kaminarimon and Sensoji Temple. Asakusa Subway Station is a 5-minute walk away. I am so grateful for the service recieved from the staff, very kind and gentleman!

Situada no bairro de Taito, em Tóquio, perto do Monumento Memorial Great Tokyo Air Raid, a casa tradicional japonesa Ryokan in asakusa with 2bedrooms oferece terraço, WiFi gratuito e máquina de lavar... Beautiful roomy space. Loved the traditional tatami. Great location with clear communication from the host.

Oferecendo bicicletas gratuitas e vista tranquila da rua, o Tokyo inn Sakura An está situado em Tóquio, a 200 metros do Museu Tokyo Origami e a 600 metros do Museu Chiisanagarasunohonno. Tudo muito bem organizado! Espaço muito agradável, camas boas, banheiro super limpo e possui tudo que um viajante precisa! E super bem atendido pelo anfitrião! Sempre prestativo, nos ajudou e deu atenção do início ao fim da nossa estadia!

O Nobori está situado em Ome, a 42 km do Monte Takao, a 43 km do Parque Fuchu e a 44 km do Museu de Arte de Fuchu. I liked that it was isolated from busy city Tokyo and that it was super close to nature and the mountain. The hospitality of the host was unmatched, the food dishes were delicious and hearty. I saw a tanuki the first day of the trip. It was an amazing day even when it’s rainy, because you can stay inside and relax.
